Track Update - It's PR Week!!

Darts -
We have an awesome week in front of us. We challenge each of you to go after a PR or season best in one or more of your events this week. We are involved in 3 different meets this week. No one will participate in all 3, but some of you will do 2 of the meets. It will be a bit of a puzzle to figure out for some of you, but PLEASE look through the information closely and let me know if you will NOT be able to compete in one of the INVITATIONALS on Friday or Saturday (we will put someone else in your spot).

Dual Meet vs Viewmont (Wednesday 4/19) @ Davis - Everyone can compete. Some of you who are competing on Friday or Saturday may sit out of this meet or may do only 1-2 events. Everyone who is not competing at an Invitational should choose 2-4 events. The meet begins at 3:00pm. Everyone will be on the excuse list at 1:45 - we will need help setting up.

Woods Cross Invitational (Friday 4/21) @ Woods Cross - The schedule and entries are attached (1st draft). We are limited on entries, so please let me know if you cannot attend. Those competing will be excused all of 8th period. The bus will leave at 1:00pm. Come prepared (physically and mentally)!!

Morgan Invitational (Saturday 4/22) @ Morgan High - The schedule and entries are attached (1st draft). We are limited on entries, so please let me know if you cannot attend. The bus will leave at 7:15am. Come prepared (physically and mentally)!! Bring some snacks. We should be back to Davis around 3:00pm (you can leave early with your parents if needed).

Junior High Meet (Thursday 4/20) @ Davis High - We will need everyone's help with the Junior High Track Meet on Thursday. It is the first of 3 Junior High Meets that we will host this year. It will go from approximately 3:00-6:00. Please help at your field event (high jump, long jump, discus, shot put), or at the finish line, or with hurdle crew. Try to encourage the athletes and have it be a positive experience for them.

Davis Invite Sponsorships - We are still trying to round up some more sponsors for the Davis Invite - both event sponsors ($100) and family sponsors ($50). The information is attached to this email. The deadline to get your name on the shirt is Tuesday - but we will still accept sponsorships after that date. Events still available:
Girls - High Jump, Long Jump, Javelin, Shot Put, Discus, 100 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, 200m Dash, 400m Dash, 4 x 100, 4 x 400, 4 x 800
Boys - Javelin, Shot Put, 110 Hurdles, 4 x 100, 4 x 400, 4 x 800

Davis Invite - April 29th -7:00am-7:00pm. Try to keep that day available to help and compete!! Thanks.
