Davis Track Update - April 7

ALTA INVITATIONAL

Both TEAMS came home from the Alta Invitational with a lot of Personal Bests, Season Bests, and two 1st place trophies. Although it was a cold and windy day, the TEAMS stayed positive and had a lot of enthusiasm and many strong performances. We are progressing through the season with some early success, and we hope to continue to work hard, stay excited, and come together as a TEAM as we work toward the region and state championships.

The girls were missing a few key scorers on Saturday, but were able to come away with 121 points (41 points more than 2nd place). We were led by 1st place finishes in all 4 relay races. We also scored 26 points in the 800.

On the boys side we brought a full team and continued our well-balanced attack, scoring in all but 1 event. The boys scored 181 points, ahead of 2nd place Bingham (87 points). We scored 28 points in the shot put alone.
